Myst was a hugely and unexpectedly successful computer game. When the sequel Myst II (Riven) was about to be launched, the stakes were much higher. The advertising had to fuel excitement but not feel ad-like in any way. Throughout this campaign (which won a Gold One Show Pencil) you have to solve a riddle, much like you do when you play the game.
